Wonder of Christmas Toy Appeal
Tipperary Windows is bringing some extra Christmas magic to the local community by launching a special toy appeal in support of children who may otherwise go without a present this Christmas.

A little generosity can make a big difference this Christmas.
The initiative, which is being supported by the local community, businesses and volunteers, aims to collect donations of new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children from newborns up to 16 years of age.
All donations will go towards bringing a little happiness to children spending Christmas in hospital, including those cared for at Cork University Hospital (CUH), and to St Society of St Vincent De Paul for children and families in the wider local community who could benefit from a little extra Christmas kindness.
The appeal was officially launched at Tipperary Windows, where a wonderful festive display, lovingly created by local volunteers provided a fitting backdrop for the occasion.
Speaking at the launch, representatives involved in the initiative highlighted just how important community support can be, particularly at Christmas.
The appeal was launched by local Irish Rugby player, Aimee Leigh Costigan, who urged people to support this very important cause. Aimee Leigh spoke warmly about the importance of bringing happiness to children at Christmas, saying that she was delighted to support an initiative that would help make the festive season special for children and families who might otherwise miss out.
The organisers are appealing to individuals, families and local businesses to get behind the campaign. Gifts can be suitable for boys or girls, and there is no need to specify a particular recipient. Every donation, regardless of size or value, will be genuinely appreciated.
How to get involved
Donations of new, unwrapped toys and gifts can be dropped off at:
Tipperary Windows
1 John Street, Tipperary Town
E34 KP36
The appeal is open from today and runs until 16 December, with donations accepted until close of business on the final collection day.
Anyone unsure about what gifts are most needed is encouraged to contact Tipperary Windows or check its website and social media pages for further information.
The organisers would like to thank everyone who has already contributed their time, energy and support, particularly the local businesses and volunteers who have helped bring the initiative to life.
As one of the organisers put it, the message is simple: "Please come along and support us. It doesn't matter whether your donation is big or small. Everything is appreciated, because it's all for a very good cause."
Let's work together to make sure that a little Christmas magic reaches as many children as possible this year.
